August 9th, 2008, Monroe, WA
Falken Tire and the ASD staff rolled into the Seattle Washington area for round 5 of the Formula D series. Darren McNamara piloted the car amazingly and took 5th place over at the event. Not to bad for only driving the car through 4 events this year! Make sure to watch out for us in Sonoma, CA for the next round of competition!

July 12th, 2008, Las Vegas NV
We have done alot of work since the last round of Formula D to the suspension work on the Sky to make it handle better and give us more adjustability with different aspects of the car. We were confident we had one of the best, if not the best car on track for the weekend. On our flight from Charlotte to Las Vegas, we received word that US Imigration had turned back Darren McNamara at customs in Ireland. What a strike of bad luck! I thought the Irish brought you luck with their 4 leaf clovers and what not?! Oh well, not Darrens fault. We are hoping to see him for the next round of Formula D in Seattle. Hope to see you there too!

Sears Auto Center, the title sponsor on the car, will be displaying the car in the corporate headquarters in Chicago IL August 13th - 16th.

June 14th, 2008, Englishtown NJ
This was the first time that the Formula D series has gone to this track. With the closing of Wall Speedway earlier this year, FD decided to use this track as a replacement, and it was an amazing choice! The track was really fast and exciting for both the drivers and the fans. Darren again easily made it into the top 16, and was paired up against Dai Yoshihara in the RMR Pontiac GTO. This was hands down the best battle in tandem drifting ever seen in the US. Unfortunately Dai advanced after the battle, but it just shows that our progress on the developement of the car is doing well. We will have alot of new developements on the car for Round 4, Las Vegas NV!

May 10th, 2008, Atlanta GA
With the first event behind us, we went into Round 2 in Atlanta, ready for results. We qualified into the top 16 easily, but were knocked out in the first round. With these results it moves us into the top 10 in points, and ready for Round 3 in New Jersey!

April 12th, 2008, Long Beach CA
We attended the 1st round of the Formula D drift series, and are happy to report that after only a handfull of laps in the car, driver Darren McNamara qualified 2nd! With alot left to do still with suspension setup and development we will be sure to improve as the season continues! More to come as we go to round 2 in Atlanta on May 10th!
